Wax Roof is a modern composer in an age of production. Whether he is recreating a sample or improvising on the piano, his fluency in the languages of melody, harmony, tone and rhythm shine. A product of Spanish flamenco guitar, Oakland swap meets record treasures, jazz clubs and concert halls, Wax Roof is a sonic healer. 

Wax's compositions have been featured in Vice (Noisey), Fader, Pidgeons and Planes, Complex, Earmilk, Hip Hop DX, XXL, KQED,  DJBooth, East Bay Express, and more. Currently based out of Oakland, his most recent releases include work with stars such as Sango, Xavier Omar, Smino, Elujay, Rexx Life Rajj, Caleborate, Siri, TheMind, Mursi, Mikos Da Gawd, & Mr Carmack.
